Work as a summer camp volunteer – requirements & tasks
Monkton Wyld Court, a registered charity, is nestled within a Grade II listed 19th-century Neo-Gothic rectory. Located in an idyllic valley in Dorset, the mansion and its eleven acres are a short walk from Lyme Regis and the breathtaking Jurassic coast.
Join our team of dedicated volunteers working towards a sustainable future! Our charity focuses on educating about sustainable living. We host a variety of low-impact living and educational courses. We also offer bed-and-breakfast, and self-catering accommodation in simple, comfortable rooms at affordable rates.
Thanks to volunteering, you’ll learn about our methods, like our Wetland system for waste water, water recycling, and solar energy.
Your help is needed with gardening, cooking, cleaning, and property upkeep. Learn, create, and contribute to our community while experiencing the beauty of the Jurassic Coast and Lyme Regis.
Two days off per week give you ample time to explore!
You’ll work for about 38 hours per week.

Accommodation includes a private room with a single or double bed, and access to hot showers. During peak periods, room sharing may be necessary.
