Escape to paradise and lend a hand! We’re seeking a pair of helpers to assist with home renovations in beautiful Haliday Bay, Queensland.
What awaits you:
- Stunning waterfront home with ocean views, just 1.5 hours from Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays.
- Relaxing atmosphere with a pool and large backyard.
- Opportunity to contribute to exciting projects like painting, bathroom renovations, and a new ocean-facing patio (construction starts February 3rd).
- Plenty of privacy as we work a 7/7 roster.
Projects begin in January 2025. If you and a friend or partner are interested in this unique opportunity, get in touch! It’s also a volunteer opportunity for couples.
You’ll work for about 20 hours per week.
About the location
Haliday Bay is a picturesque coastal locality in the Mackay Region of Queensland. It’s located right on the coast, just a short drive from Cape Hillsborough Road, and overlooks a lovely north-east facing beach. From Haliday Bay, you can enjoy amazing views of the nearby islands.
You’ll have opportunities for swimming, fishing, and exploring the nearby Cape Hillsborough National Park. The park is especially renowned for the kangaroos and wallabies that come together on the beach at sunrise, providing a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable wildlife encounter.
