Travel and work in Australia – requirements & tasks
Port Elliot, located on the Fleurieu Peninsula, offers a great swimming beach, nearby surf beaches, and many natural wonders and trails, including the Encounter Bikeway.
At the award-winning Port Elliot Beach House YHA in South Australia we’re looking for fun, honest, and reliable people. We don’t require previous experience in hospitality as we’ll provide all the training you need.
This is a fantastic opportunity to live and work in paradise! Just Google “Port Elliot Beach House YHA” and see for yourself what a stunning location it is! We welcome all volunteers, including individuals, friends, and couples.
You’ll work for about 3 hours per day.
This is an amazing chance for those who can dedicate at least 4 weeks to the experience.
Casual paid positions are also available for those with working rights in Australia.

Travel and work in Australia – what we offer
Free dorm accommodation is provided, including a shared bathroom and access to the laundry facilities. You’ll be responsible for your own meals, but the hostel has a fully equipped kitchen for your use.
Enjoy also free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, and a comfortable lounge and TV room. Step out the door to surf, swim, kayak, or relax on the beach. Go whale watching in winter, explore nearby towns, or try adventure activities like skydiving. Enjoy local pubs and restaurants, or head to Victor Harbour for a more vibrant nightlife.
