Volunteering on an organic farm in Hawaii – requirements & tasks
Volunteers will work on an organic farm in Ka’u area on the big island in a rural area of Hawaii, where we can farm, drink clean water from the spring, raise chickens, and eat 10 different vegetables.
We are currently looking for volunteers who want to farm or want to learn about farming. Typical chores include: weeding, planting, feeding animals (we have many chickens), cleaning their areas, harvesting vegetables and any other farm-related tasks.
You will work for about 30 hours per week.
We are interested in cooperation with people with a minimum of 21 years old and two past work references.
Volunteering on an organic farm in Hawaii – what we offer
We provide volunteers with accommodation – there is a single or couple room with a queen bed, community kitchen, everything on the grid, fiber internet, hot water and a flushing toilet. We also offer bed linen and access to laundry facilities. A full board is included.
