Help in a BnB while volunteering on the big island of Hawaii

We are a five room bed and breakfast and healing arts center in south Kona on the big island of Hawaii. We are looking for interns/volunteers with a sense of humor who wish to learn about running a BnB and growing organic food. Is that you? Join us!

The majority of our responsibilities is maintaining the BnB rooms and providing breakfast.

We are looking for interns with experience in gardening, construction, maintenance, plumbing, cooking and especially housekeeping & cleaning. We hope you’ll do it with a happy heart 😉

We are a sober community with no smoking cigarettes or drinking alcohol permitted. We eat mostly organic, whole, minimally processed foods and encourage our interns to do the same.

Volunteering in a BnB in Hawaii – what we offer

We provide accommodations and partial board in exchange for your work. We also provide basic food staples such as grains and beans along with fresh greens from our organic garden and fruit from our trees when available.

Every Sunday we have a “family” potluck dinner. We share lunch every Wednesday at our group meeting to discuss priorities and address operational and interpersonal issues.

We have a large yoga platform which is painted with a colorful labyrinth. Intern accommodations are luxuriously rustic with an awesome view of the Kona Coast. We have fully equipped kitchens for you to use.

We charge cleaning fees to BnB guests and divide these between our housekeeping interns after the first two trial weeks of training. Also, our location is just 2 miles away from an excellent snorkeling/diving spot which you can enjoy.
