Free Volunteering in Indonesia – Gardening & Nature Building

Indonesia Free Volunteering - Gardening & Nature Building

Indonesia Free Volunteering – Gardening & Nature Building – Overview

Come and enjoy free volunteering in Indonesia. We care for nature and also love art. We have several programs working with our friend in a caring organization. You can choose from nature-related projects – like residential development (like an eco-house), gardening, and teaching English.

I have several projects to work on. I do manual projects (like a tree house), I care for butterflies, and hope volunteers come to help me with the project. Our wish is that the volunteers contribute to the project – we welcome all ideas!

If you have any gardening knowledge to share or seeds that will grow in tropical climates (summer crops) please bring them along. We would love to grow an international garden! Eventually, we hope to feed everyone from the garden but we are still in the seeding phase.

Indonesia Free Volunteering – Help Required

The working day starts when you are ready (after coffee and breakfast) and goes on until you have finished your project (which may take days – that’s OK too). When it’s too hot – a swim in the river is always fun and cools you down. The project is going on for the whole day while taking turns and with a lot of small coffee breaks. At the moment all meals are shared.

You can start your daily work whenever you wake up even if others still sleep (we are working on organization and art projects at night). We are all working 5 hours per day and have two days off per week.

We prepare and eat the food together as well as go to the local market to buy ingredients. It’s a nice trip! The preparation of food is a great chance to learn Indonesian cooking methods. Eventually, we hope to feed everyone from the garden but we are still in the seeding phase. If you have any gardening knowledge to share or seeds that will grow in tropical climates (summer crops) please bring them along. We would love to grow an international garden!
