We’re seeking volunteers to engage in English conversation with our students, fostering a cultural exchange where you can share about your country and learn about theirs. Join us!
Volunteer in South America – requirements & tasks
Loja, known for its art and culture, offers beautiful landscapes perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. It’s also one of Ecuador’s cleanest and safest cities, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and historic towns rich in culture. Plus, the food is delicious!
We’d love to have you volunteer at our academy. Here’s how it works: you’ll mainly practice speaking with the students. It’s simple – just have conversations with them. You’ll work with students aged 12 and up, with English levels ranging from beginner to advanced. Your goal is to help them improve their listening and speaking, with a focus on pronunciation.
Your contribution is essential because it allows students to practice their conversational skills while learning about your culture, country, and hobbies. In return, you also get to learn about them.
The commitment is 4 hours per day from Monday to Friday, with flexible rotating schedules that can be adjusted to accommodate other activities. Additionally, we ask for 2 Saturdays per month, with a reduced workload of 3 hours on those days. Your role is to engage in open conversations with our students in one-on-one sessions lasting 10 minutes each.
