Help out at a reception as a volunteer in Lisbon – requirements & tasks
We are seeking individuals with a positive spirit who can foster a harmonious environment with both guests and fellow staff members. We prioritize maintaining a culture of friendship and collaboration that encourages the exchange of great ideas. We’re excited to meet and welcome you!
We will provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
The responsibilities for this position include:
Conducting check-ins
Supervising breakfast service
Attending to guests’ needs (such as water, coffee, etc.)
Handling booking sites
Overseeing the hostel’s daily operations
Addressing any other requirements as they arise.
Please note that there is no housekeeping work expected.
We operate on a rotating schedule among our three team members, ensuring everyone has both Friday and Saturday off. Shifts are typically up to 5 hours each and are primarily during the day. Our reception desk closes at 10 pm, so there are no night shifts involved.
You will work for about 25 hours per week.

On the top floor of the building, we offer a charming apartment with a balcony that provides a picturesque view of Lisbon. This apartment is fully furnished and includes a bathroom, a compact kitchen, a washing machine, a TV, internet access, a sofa, ample closet space, and three beds.
We also provide breakfast.
