Come join us as a helper on our farm in Ireland. We need energetic happy people who can help us on our small farm and garden, improving our airsoft park and maintaining our accommodation buildings.
Volunteer on a farm in Ireland – requirements & tasks
We are making great changes on our farm with a honey bee project, a market gardening project, a food forest project, a flower garden for the bees and nature walk for kids.
Interested in helping in our Language School? Join us for a stay during July in one of Ireland’s best English Language Schools. Can you cook? Teach? Can you organize and play sports? Would you like to play sports and have fun with our teenage friends from Spain, Italy, Russia, and France. For teaching English, we require English mother tongue volunteers.
Other tasks? No problem! You can help with homework, do laundry, keep the place tidy, do shopping. Tell us how you can help? The choice is wide:
- Carpentry, plumbing and painting.
- Feeding the animals.
- Maintaining the vegetable garden.
- Housekeeping – cooking, tidying, dish washing and room cleaning.
- General maintenance of buildings and grounds.
- Web development – we need a website for the farm.
You will also be responsible for keeping your space clean and tidy at all times, help cook in the kitchen on a Rota basis,do your own laundry, and have the building clean and tidy at all times as we also have paying guests staying too.
Volunteer on a farm in Ireland – what we offer
We offer free bed and board & lots of free time. You will sleep in the student accommodation building which is a separate building situated beside our family home. The sleeping quarters include a mixture of dormitories and room types. It contains 3 en-suite bedrooms with bunk beds and there are 2 dormitories overhead, which provide extra accommodation.
We would love to hear from people who want to visit Ireland for a few weeks and explore the beautiful countryside at weekends, have a pint of Guinness, meet the locals for a chat and discover new best friends for the rest of their life. We are located 5 miles from Limerick city on the Irish West Coast so you’ll be able to explore that area.
