Held from 12th to 19th July, the Yoga Mela Festival is an 8-day event filled with inspiration, Satsang, authentic yoga, and sacred music. It is a completely non-profit, volunteer-driven festival, where participants come together with a shared purpose to create a peaceful, loving, and energetic atmosphere. Many volunteers return year after year, contributing to this magical experience alongside the Divinya community.
Volunteer at a Yoga Festival: Tasks & Roles
Volunteers at Yoga Mela will engage in various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the festival. You will contribute five hours of work per day during the festival and participate in pre-festival preparations starting two weeks prior to the event. Your duties may include assisting in areas such as First Aid, Construction, Kitchen support, Cafes and Food Venues, Dishwashing, Housekeeping (including Toilets & Showers), Children’s Team support, or acting as an All-Rounder. In your application, you can select three preferred areas, but it is expected that volunteers remain flexible and open to helping in any area where assistance is needed.
Those with specialised skills in sound, lighting, or media (photography and video) are also invited to contribute their expertise, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
