After years of exploring the world and working in hospitality, I’m thrilled to be opening two hostels in Sofia! I have big plans, but I need a great team to bring them to life. If you’re passionate about travel and hospitality, join me on this adventure!
Volunteer at a hostel & enjoy nomad lifestyle – requirements & tasks
Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is a city with a long history dating back to ancient times. It offers a mix of historical and modern architecture, with landmarks like the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the National Palace of Culture. Sofia has a lively cultural scene, with numerous museums, galleries, and theaters. The city is also known for its green spaces, including parks like Borisova Gradina and Vitosha Mountain, which offers hiking and skiing opportunities.
Join our fun, international team! I’m opening two hostels in this exciting city and need enthusiastic people to help me run them. You’ll work with locals and volunteers from around the world, meet travelers every day, and have endless opportunities to explore Sofia together.
Our location is unbeatable! We’re right in the center of Sofia, on a charming pedestrian street just steps from the Serdika metro station. You’ll be in the heart of the action!
Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, ensuring the safety and security of the hostel by monitoring security cameras, and responding to guest requests. I’ll handle most of the reservation correspondence remotely, but you’ll be the main point of contact for guests during their stay.
You’ll work for about 30 hours per week.
Experience Sofia like a local! You’ll gain a unique perspective on the city, forge lasting connections, and create memories that go beyond the typical tourist experience. Perfect for digital nomads too!
Volunteer at a hostel & enjoy nomad lifestyle – what we offer
Accommodation is in a dorm with two bunk beds, shared only with other helpers (if any). You’ll share kitchen and bathroom facilities with hostel guests. Enjoy our common areas, including a bar/lobby and an entertainment room with a PS5 and projector, when not in use by guests.
