Sustainable living project in France | Eco Community

Be Part of Sustainable Living Project (France)

This eco-community living project is developing a shared home where several families can live alongside one another while still having their own private space. The project combines sustainable living, community life, construction and permaculture, with shared use of spaces, tools and materials.

Tasks & Roles

The project is in its early stages and needs practical help with a range of building, woodworking and gardening tasks. These include finishing a bathroom, where the plumbing and electrical work is already in place, building a woodshed or chicken coop, fencing the Tiny House garden, making shelves for the attic and carrying out other woodwork. There will also be opportunities to help with permaculture gardening, organise a shared gardening group, and sort and organise items in the house and workshops. Specific tasks and roles will be agreed before the stay is confirmed.

Living & Getting There

The closest airport is Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS), the international airport serving Lyon. Accommodation and eating arrangements will be discussed and agreed before the stay is confirmed. The best way to reach the project from the airport will also be arranged in advance.

What else

As this is a new community project, flexibility and a willingness to get involved are appreciated. Further details about the stay and arrangements will be discussed before confirmation.
