The location
Málaga is a port city on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol, known for its beaches and resorts. It’s a popular tourist destination with a long history. You can relax on the beach, explore historical sites like the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle, or visit museums like the Picasso Museum and the Carmen Thyssen Museum. The city center is filled with shops, restaurants, and bars, and there’s a lively nightlife scene.
Málaga is also a good base for exploring the surrounding region of Andalusia. Day trips to places like Granada, Seville, and Cordoba are easy to arrange.
