Help out at a meditation center as a yoga volunteer – requirements & tasks
Our ashram, nestled between a main building and serene forest, seeks volunteers to support our daily operations and ongoing projects.
Your Role:
- Assist with cleaning, cooking, gardening, and event organization.
- Collaborate with educators on our children’s project.
In Return:
- Immerse yourself in the ashram’s daily rhythm.
- Participate in asana practice, theoretical yoga sessions, and dedicated study with our ashram Master.
- Deepen your practice and understanding of yoga.
Requirements:
- A strong commitment to your yoga journey.
- Proficiency in Italian.
- Availability to start on the first Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of the month between 11 am and 4 pm.
Daily Schedule (Monday to Friday):
- 06:00/06:45: Silent meditation
- 08:30/09:30: Samadhi pada study followed by breakfast
- 13:00/14:00: Lunch (communal kitchen available)
- 16:30/16:45: Japa practice
- 20:30: Closing and dinner (self-service)
- 22:00: Silence until 6:45 the following day
Weekends:
We host events, particularly for children, on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
