Work exchange in Sicily – requirements & tasks
Palermo is the capital city of Sicily, a beautiful Mediterranean island. It’s a historic port city with diverse architecture, bustling markets, and a vibrant street food scene. Known for its rich culture and sometimes chaotic atmosphere, Palermo offers a unique blend of Italian and North African influences.
Our hostel, nestled beside Palermo’s vibrant Ballarò Market, offers a unique opportunity for cultural immersion and personal growth. With a long history of hosting guests and volunteers, we’ve built a strong reputation for our welcoming atmosphere and commitment to ethical practices. As a volunteer, you’ll become part of our close-knit community, assist with various tasks, and enjoy free weekend trips to explore other parts of Sicily.
We ask for a few hours of your time each week to help with various tasks around the hostel. We need help with tasks like welcoming guests, checking people in, answering questions, and creating a friendly atmosphere. You’ll work for about 15 hours per week in total.
