Budget travel in Italy – requirements & tasks
Escape the ordinary and immerse yourself in the tranquility of Italy’s Regional Park of Montemarcello-Magra-Vara. Our peaceful, animal-free homestead seeks a dedicated individual (or couple!) to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a tranquil environment and enjoys interacting with guests.
Typical tasks include:
- Housekeeping
- Guest care – be the friendly face that welcomes and assists our wonderful visitors.
- Pool maintenance
- Helping hands – lend a hand with garden upkeep, light maintenance, and other interesting projects around the homestead.
You will work for about 20 hours per week.
Your schedule will vary based on our needs, but we prioritize consecutive days off. We’ll be happy to suggest incredible places to visit during your free time.
Typical workdays are focused on mornings and evenings, leaving the afternoons yours to discover hidden gems and soak up the Italian sunshine.

We offer a charming, one-bedroom stone house nestled within the tranquil forest as your home base. This cozy haven comes fully furnished for your comfort, including a private kitchen and bathroom, fresh linens, and fluffy towels. Laundry facilities are also a convenient step away. While Wi-Fi will connect you to the essentials, prepare for limited phone reception.
With two days off each week, you’ll have ample time to explore the captivating network of scenic walks and hiking trails that wind through the Montemarcello-Magra-Vara Regional Park. Immerse yourself in the magic of the forest, breathe in the fresh air, and discover the hidden gems surrounding you.
