Volunteer with children in Sierra Leone, Africa – requirements and tasks

Mem Children’s Foundation is a registered community based development organization founded in Sierra Leone, West Africa. We run community projects in rural areas of Sierra Leone focusing on long term community-led solutions to challenges caused by extreme poverty and poor education.

We collaborate with local, national and international partners in order to bring about sustainable improvements of life. The foundation aims to improve the living conditions for the rural poor regardless of their faith, origin or gender. We give special attention to children, youth and women.

We need help of international volunteers in our daily tasks. They may include teaching or caring for the elderly.

You will work around 15 hours a week and you will have days off on weekends.

We aim to be flexible, so please let us know if you would like to make any changes and we will do our best.
