Volunteer in South Korea & help run a hostel – requirements & tasks
Feel Korean culture in Myeongdong, the center of Seoul!
This is a new stay-in hostel that was opened in September 2023. New Stay Inn Hostel is located near Myeongdong Station, the center of Seoul’s travel. We are looking for volunteers to help us change linen and clean up our accommodation for about five days a week. The four volunteers who will join us will have a valuable experience of exchanging global culture with each other and living in Korea. Let’s have fun together like a family.
– Volunteer work
(1) Cleaning Rooms & Bathrooms
(2) Replacement/Collection of used bedding
(3) small linen wash
(4) Cleaning public spaces such as corridors and stairs
(5) Fill the lack of amenities
– Shifts
(1) Working 5 days a week including weekends / Closed 2 days a week
(2) Up to 4 working hours per day (usually 3 hours)
(3) Not working alone. At least 2 people work with up to 4 volunteers.
– Hostel Condition for Volunteers
(1) There is a microwave/electric stove for cooking.
(2) There is a dedicated refrigerator for the staff.
(3) The private accommodation for volunteers is a four-person dormitory with a bathroom. All volunteers are women.
– Our rules
(1) If there is an unavoidable schedule, you can change the shift with other volunteers. Please share this fact with all the members in advance.
(2) We will write an accommodation contract and a labor contract with you. We will respect and consider you as a manager of the accommodation during your time at our accommodation.
(3) When you return to your country from volunteer work, please share this with the accommodation operators at least 14 days in advance. For normal accommodation operations, we need time to hire and educate other volunteers.
