Volunteer in Canada and help out on a farm – requirements & tasks
We have a small 14-acre farm in stunning Bowen Island BC. There are lots of restaurants, cafes and beautiful beaches. Bowen Island is only a 20-minute ferry ride to Vancouver BC.
We currently operate Moulton Meadow Farm B&B out of our farmhouse. We have three suites total of 2 in the main farmhouse and the third is a tiny house; they all have amazing ocean and mountain views. I take pride in decorating so each suite is beautifully appointed and a very nice space to spend time in.
We are looking for a farm hand to do the following tasks: put up fencing, minor repairs, painting, feeding animals (pig, goats and chickens), cleaning the chicken and goat shed, and manual labor.
Our guests love the hobby farm but we never seem to have time to bring all our ideas to fruition. A creative personality to make our farm more beautiful would be a great fit.
You will work for about 30 hours per week with weekends off.
