We’re a small family farm looking to share and grow. Join us in our farming adventure!
Help a family as a volunteer on a farm – requirements & tasks
We’re looking for someone to assist with various farm duties in our aquaponic greenhouse: planting, harvesting, order preparation, and maintenance. If you’re interested, there’s also an opportunity to help care for our ostrich, sheep, goats, chickens, and other animals. Additionally, lending a hand with farm tours is appreciated.
Our family-run farm hosts educational tours, parties, preschool activities, camps, and more! Within our organic aquaponic greenhouse, we cultivate leafy greens, while our animals provide eggs, milk, fiber, and meat. Our diverse range of animals includes alpacas, goats, ostriches, sheep, rabbits, peacocks, and more!
You need to be able to work outside in all types of weather heat, cold, rain, or sun. You also have to be able to lift heavy things around 50lbs and operate farm vehicles. We will teach you everything. The tasks are hard but rewarding!
You will work for about 18 hours per week.
