Volunteering in Canada at a resort – requirements & tasks
Our resort is very busy in the summer, and we need assistance with a variety of jobs. Some of your tasks will include yard work, painting, housekeeping, maintenance, cooking and shopping. We will also appreciate a helping hand with social media, front desk & internet.
You will work 24 hours per week, i.e. 4 days per week, 6-hour shifts. That will leave you 3 full days to explore the surrounding area.
We are centrally located to most points of interest on the Island, and the bus passes twice a day. The shops and cafes are located nearby our property.
Centrally located for day trips to most points of interest on Vancouver Island. Kayak the tranquil shoreline with the resident otters, seals and seal lions. Wildlife is in abundance including Bald eagles blue herons and a host of other species. Pick fresh oysters/clams from the shoreline. Relax in front of a beach bonfire after a day of hiking the numerous pristine trails.

We are a Boutique Beachfront Resort situated on Central Vancouver Island. Our property is an ideal location to explore the Island. We have guests from all parts of the world. A very happy environment where we share travel stories and meet new friends.
We offer our volunteers beachfront accommodation. Sometimes you will share the room with one other helper in our 2-bedroom beachfront home.
We try to grow an assortment of veggies for our helper team.
Our resort is good starting point to try kayaking and hiking. The Nature of Vancouver Island is amazing so join us if you appreciate the great outdoors.
