The Canadian English Institute is located in Cuenca, a beautiful city nestled in the Andes mountains, known for its charming historic center, stunning natural surroundings, and traditional handicrafts.
The Institue is located near the historic center, restaurants, shopping centers, cafes, bars, and more. It resides in a prestigious sector known as the Av. Remigio Crespo sector.
We create a vibrant community of students and volunteers. This cultural exchange goes beyond the classroom with exciting activities that make volunteering even more rewarding.
Volunteers have easy access to tourist attractions such as the historic center, churches, Mirador de Turi, parks, sports areas, gyms, and nature reserves. As a host, we provide volunteers with a unique experience, granting them total freedom to enjoy their stay to the fullest and hopefully recommend our center to others.
You will work for about 22 hours per week. We need volunteers who are able to stay with us for a minimum of 20 days.

We provide volunteers with a breakfast. As for accommodation, you will have access to a fully furnished space with all the basic amenities provided. We offer a private double room as well as a private single room.
