Volunteer in Suriname & help out in a hostel – requirements & tasks
Volunteering with us means that you may be assigned to various areas depending on your skills and preferences.
Typical tasks include:
– Providing reception services.
– Assisting with reception tasks such as serving breakfast, check-in and check-out, providing information to guests, and handling laundry.
– Filling in for housekeeping shifts in case of illness.
– Supporting housekeeping, especially during busy periods, and assisting with extra cleaning tasks.
– Maintaining the garden.
– Undertaking small chores and tasks around the hostel.
– Organizing activities within the hostel, such as BBQs or movie nights.
– Gathering content for social media, including photos and videos of the hostel, its surroundings, Paramaribo, and Suriname.
– Creating and developing DIY tours for guests, including images, route descriptions, and information.
If you have specific talents, knowledge, or ideas, please feel free to share them with us. We are always open to your input.
What do we expect from you?
– Approximately 24 hours of help per week.
– Enthusiasm and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
– Flexibility and dedication.
