Summer volunteer work in Sweden – requirements & tasks

Arvika is a town located in the Värmland County of Sweden. It’s situated in the western part of the country, not far from the border with Norway. It offers good variety of shops, musea, bars and restaurants.

We operate a vibrant guesthouse in Värmland and offer a wide range of on-site outdoor activities. Every year, we welcome several volunteers from different countries who enjoy being part of our summer team, assisting with various activities while having fun.

Your assistance will be required for breakfast and evening meal preparation, cleaning, grocery shopping, gardening, aiding with canoe and bike rentals, and various other tasks.

Our preference is for helpers who are between 18 and 26 of age. We are seeking assistance for the months of May, June, July, and August. While we prioritize individuals who can commit to a longer period, we kindly request a minimum stay of one month. We are flexible with dates.

We can only accept volunteers from Europe.

You will work for about 25 hours per week.

When staying with us, you’ll reside in and share an apartment with other volunteers. You must be willing to share a bedroom and bathroom. The apartment, situated next to the hotel, is equipped with a kitchen and living room.

You can use our on spot activities for free during your stay, like bikes, canoes and spa facilities.
