Hi, I’m Eric, the manager of Hotel Wyllandrie. In 2017 we have started using this beautiful place. In the years before us, the hotel served as a refugee center for 2 years. We think it’s so beautiful it deserves to serve its original purpose. Help us take care of it!
Volunteer in a hotel in the Netherlands – requirements & tasks
Come and visit our quiet and friendly part of Holland! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who’d love to join our team and are looking for experience in running a hotel.
We ask volunteers to:
- Work for 5 days a week about 6 hours a day,
- Speak English on the work floor and in the common area’s
- Be flexible, representative, spontaneous, hospitable and customer-friendly,
- Be honest and trustworthy.
You will help us with general maintenance, cleaning, cooking and taking care of guests. We have some rules to follow in the hotel. It’s not allowed to:
- Use any drugs,
- Use too much alcohol,
- Play loud music and organize parties,
- Smoking of cigarettes is only allowed outside.
Overall, remember that we are a hotel with mostly older people who come here to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay. Although it is important that our staff have a good time, we all need to protect the interests of the guests.
