Help with horses as a volunteer on a ranch – requirements & tasks
Nestled in the picturesque Gorkundere Valley, just a stone’s throw from Goreme, our family-run ranch offers an unforgettable equestrian adventure. We boast a unique stable of Anatolian and Arabic horses, perfect for exploring the captivating valleys of Cappadocia. Whether you’re seeking a short sunset ride through Red and Rose Valleys, a magical moonlight tour under the full moon, or a multi-day expedition, we tailor each experience to your desires.
As a native of Goreme, I, Irfan, along with my family, am passionate about sharing our love for horses and the rich heritage of this land.
To maintain our ranch and expand our blossoming vegetable garden, we seek two enthusiastic volunteers: one with a knack for horse care, and another with skills in construction, maintenance, and gardening. Animal lovers will delight in our lively menagerie of chickens, dogs, and cats, and your presence on the farm is essential for their well-being.
You will work for about 30 hours per week.

Volunteers have the option to stay in a shared room or sleep in a tent with access to laundry facilities. We provide a full board.
Volunteering with us is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in ranch life, connect with the local village community, and uncover the hidden gems of Cappadocia. During your free time, you can hike amidst the enchanting fairy chimneys of Love Valley, delve into the mysteries of underground cities, marvel at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Goreme Open Air Museum, savor local wines, and so much more.
