Are you a native or fluent English speaker looking for an unforgettable adventure? Teach English, immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture, and make a difference in Ho Chi Minh City!
Teach English in Vietnam for a cultural exchange – requirements & tasks
In Ho Chi Minh City, I teach small English classes (up to 10 students) focusing on IELTS prep for local students. I also run “F.SE – English and Culture Hub,” a space for English lovers to chat and connect.
To help everyone learn faster, I’m looking for open-minded, relaxed, and fluent English speakers from anywhere in the world to volunteer with us. Together, we’ll create fun language, cultural, and even food-related experiences for learners and volunteers alike.
You’d work about 4 hours a day, mostly afternoons, with Fridays and Saturdays free. You’ll mainly chat with students and help them with their English. In your free time, you’ll practice English with me and my little sister. In return, I’ll help you out while you’re here.
Teach English in Vietnam for a cultural exchange – what I offer
I can’t host you at my place right now because of some legal stuff, but you can still visit! I’ll set you up in a nearby hostel dorm and cover the cost. I’ll get you to and from your work spot with Grab Bike – my treat.
On workdays, lunch and dinner are on me – my sister and I cook yummy Vietnamese food, and sometimes we’ll eat out. If you’d like, I can even show you how to make some Vietnamese dishes. Help yourself to Vietnamese instant coffee and tea anytime.
We offer a free WiFi. We’re close to the airport, bus stations, shops, local markets, ATMs, parks, and even a pool. I’ll show you around the area whenever you want and give you some tips on things to do.
I love art, so if you’re up for it, we can do some fun creative stuff together like drawing, singing, crafting, or designing.
