Join our family for cultural exchange in Morocco – requirements & tasks
We are a Franco-Moroccan family nestled in the vibrant heart of Tangier. Our children have fluently adopted Arabic from their father and French from their mother. Now, we aim to enhance their English language skills and cultural horizons.
Your typical tasks will include:
Language Interaction: Our primary goal is language immersion. We are committed to ensuring that our children retain and enhance their English proficiency through daily conversations, storytelling, and engaging in various activities in English.
Activity Engagement: You will be expected to participate in various activities with the children, such as sports, hiking, gymnastics, crafts, drawing, and more. We believe in unschooling, so learning through experience and immersion is fundamental to our approach.
Cultural Exchange: As a Franco-Moroccan family, we are eager to learn more about your culture while sharing ours. This includes participating in family meals, outings, and local traditions.
You will work for about 20 hours per week with Sundays off.

Private Room: You will have your own private bedroom furnished with all the essentials. It’s a comfortable space where you can retreat and enjoy your privacy.
Shared Spaces: You are welcome to use our living room, kitchen, and other communal areas. Our home is your home during your stay with us. We encourage you to feel comfortable and be a part of our daily routines.
Meals: All your meals will be provided. You will have the opportunity to savor authentic Moroccan dishes as well as some French favorites. If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Connectivity: We have Wi-Fi available throughout the house, allowing you to stay connected with your family and friends, work, or study.
Location: Our home is situated in a safe and vibrant neighborhood in Tangier. There are shops, cafés, and parks within walking distance, and the city center, with all its cultural attractions, is easily accessible.
Cultural Experience: Staying with us will provide you with a unique insight into Moroccan and French ways of life. From local customs to festivals and everyday routines, you will enjoy an immersive cultural experience.
Support and Guidance: If it’s your first time in Morocco or Tangier, don’t worry. We will assist you in navigating the city, introduce you to local attractions, and ensure your comfort and safety.
