Teaching American Curriculum Ghana

Volunteering & Teaching the American Curriculum in Ghana

Teaching American Curriculum Ghana

Teaching American Curriculum Ghana. Global Preparatory Academy (GPA) is a newly launched nursery through primary school in Greater Accra, Ghana. Our mission is to prepare a diverse student population of thought leaders to meet the global demands of tomorrow. We are a forward-thinking school aiming to prepare children, teachers, staff, and the greater community for a rapidly changing world by equipping them with knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a global perspective to improve their lives and the lives of those encountered.

Come volunteer (interns, gap year, recent grads, or professionals) abroad in Ghana. We are seeking volunteers to help our local teachers-in-training deliver an American/English-based curriculum to our nursery and primary-age students. Activities can vary from classroom to field trips, but will encompass everyday activities surrounding the school. Seeking various length stays (preferably alignment to the US nine-month academic calendar, but we’re very flexible.)
