We’re a privately owned rainforest retreat and offering you the opportunity to volunteer skills in Australia. You’ll wake up to the birds and the sound of the bush. It’s a fun working environment too.
Sharpen your skills while you stay in a star-rated resort in the Word Heritage Barrington National forest. We are the largest privately owned rainforest retreat in the state. You’ll live in Star rated Furnished timber cabins and enjoy retreat facilities (pool, tennis court), breathe fresh clean air, and drink unpolluted spring water. You’ll wake up to the birds and sound of the bush while enjoying a fun working environment.
In exchange, you’ll stay in our star-rated luxurious timber cabins and utilize the retreat facilities in exchange for work within the retreat. We are looking for people who can help out with the following project.
- Repair and maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, painting)
- Gardening – creating a vegetable and herb garden
Volunteer skills in Australia tasks & roles
Help required in the areas of:
- Repair work that requires basic carpentry experience
- Repair work with some basics of fixing holes in walls
- Paining and oiling of cabins
- Gardening work
Volunteer skills in Australia living
Room in a luxurious timber cabin. Individual rooms, and cabins will be shared. The nearest train station is Gloucester. We can organize to get you picked up.

Plenty of bush to be explored. Use your free time to sharpen your skills or indulge in your hobby. We recommend that you have your travel insurance.
